Shop4pictures Ltd is an independent print, poster and frame retailer based in Buckinghamshire, England.
Our mission is provide the very best selection of quality prints direct to you at the lowest possible prices. We sell exclusively online as a mechanism to keep costs down, which allows us to pass the savings onto you the customer. Our key goal is customer satisfaction, we want to do everything to make you a happy customer.

History

Shop4pictures came about because there was a gap in the market. Have you ever tried to buy decent art work in the High St? If you can find a retailer they will carry a very limited range which is awkward to look through. Should you find something you like you then have to pay top prices as a reward you for your effort.

It is much more pleasant to browse an extensive range from the comfort of your own home. Use online search facilities to find exactly what you want, then have your artwork delivered direct to your door at a competitive price.

What You Are Buying

The prints you purchase are of the highest quality. These are not prints on thin paper as some vendors offer but finest reproductions onto think quality card backings making for the finest possible finished product.

Complaints Procedure

In the highly unlikely event you should have a complaint we will handle it both promptly and efficiently. We will endeavour to respond to all complaints within four working days, advise you how long it will take to resolve and keep you informed throughout the process.

Packaging

If you purchase one or more unframed pictures they will be packaged in a robost mailing tube. This gives full protection of the pictures during transportation.

Everyone is concerned about security when it comes to ordering over the internet.

Please be reassured that we use the very latest and most stringent security on our order and payment systems. When you place an order you will see either a key or padlock appear on your browser. This confirms your order details are secure.

Our payment processing is via WorldPay who are one of the longest established, largest and most respected online order processing companies. They are used by thousands of companies from multi-nationals to small net traders. Worldpay use a variety of the latest industry standard methods to ensure absolute security.

For additional piece of mind we are also a WhichNet trader accredited store.

How it works

If you are interested in the details the systems used are the industry standard SSL, Thawte and WorldPay unique encryption systems. When the shopper fills in the payment form and clicks the submit button, their details are not sent straight away. What actually happens is that a secure link is set up between the shopper's browser and WorldPay and an encryption code is requested and received, which then wraps the order and transaction details before leaving the shoppers premises.

WorldPay use Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are delivered by the Royal Mail. Experience shows that this gives the best combination of service and value for money. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery, although most orders are dispatched well within this timescale.

Packing and Delivery charges are;

One print - £2.50.
Two prints - £3.00.
Three prints - £4.50.
Four prints - £6.00.

Ordering could not be simpler.

Simply view our online galleries by either selecting a category or using the search facility.

The search facility allows you to search based on artist, title of the work or just on the key subject.

Once in the galleries view the various prints and 'click' on any that interest you. On selecting the print you will be shown a larger image of the print and a full description including size and border details.

To order simply select the number you require 'click' on the 'Order' button and follow the instructions on the screen. This will add the item to your cart.

When you have finished browsing the store simply hit 'Check Out' and you will be taken through the process to purchase your items. You will have the option to create an account so your details are saved for future use, or move straight to check out for a one off purchase.

When ordering online we accept most major credit cards, specifically Mastercard, Visa, Switch, Delta, JCB & Solo.

Alteratively, if you do not have a credit card you can still browse the online gallery, hit 'Check Out' (to calculate the total cost of your order including delivery charges), then send us your name, address, contact telephone number and order details (artist, title, size and cost) with a cheque for the total amount made payable to "Shop4Pictures Limited".

Privacy Statement

During the purchasing process you have the option to register for an account. This is entirely optional and is purely intended to make the future ordering simpler.

Any information you give us during the registration or ordering process will be well protected. We also feel it is important that you know exactly how any information you give us is used and that all information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Shop4pictures Ltd will not use this data, or disclose it to any other party (with the exception of Worldpay Ltd our chosen secure card payment handler), either during registration or at any other time, without your express permission, given during registration or at some other time. We may, however, disclose this data if compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid request (deemed at our absolute discretion) from a law enforcement or government agency. We may also contact you in respect of special offers or competitions, but only if you have elected to receive this by not checking the opt-out box during the registration procedure.
