Gayle Kabaker's illustration style is lively and spirited. Living in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts, Kabaker is a freelance illustrator who began creating images specifically for children after the birth of her first child in 1989. By her own admission, this period in her life and inspired work which is the result, have yielded many of her most enjoyable hours at the drawing board. Kabaker's reputation as a freelance illustrator has earned her success with advertising, corporate and television campaigns for some of America's most prestigious institutions and corporations including AT&T, Estee Lauder, HBJ Publishing, Liz Claiborne, Lotus, Simon & Schuster, 20th Century Fox and Xerox.
